Courier Delivery Updates

Hey there! Please refer to the information below for the most recent delivery updates that may affect you.

[Apr 21, 2023] Possible delays due to tropical cyclone Ilsa

Transit times across AU are within expected service levels. Our partnered carriers are performing within their normal transit times, with only minor delays of 1-2 days in the Melbourne to Perth lane.

Tropical cyclone Ilsa landed on the WA coast last week halting services in Port Hedland. Delivery delays were anticipated after the storm passed the West Australian coast over the Kimberley-Pilbara region last Thursday night, April 16th. Services have been temporarily suspended in the Port Hedland region. Interruptions to services in the surrounding regions are expected.

[Jan 17, 2023] Far North WA – Delayed freight due to flooding and road closures

The areas around Fitzroy Crossing, Halls Creek, Warmun, Kununurra and Wyndham in far north Western Australia have been impacted by flooding and road closures from Tropical Cyclone Ellie. Freight to these areas will be delayed until flooding subsides.

[Jan 17, 2023] North Queensland – Delays due to heavy rain and flooding

Large areas of North Queensland are experiencing heavy rain and flooding. Areas impacted include: Barcaldine, Cairns, Emerald, Ingham, Mackay, Mt Isa, Proserpine and Townsville, with delivery delays of 3-5 days expected.

[Nov 30, 2022] Delays due to parcel volume increase

Please be advised that due the unusually high volume of parcels during the busy shopping season, various couriers are experiencing delays nationwide. Couriers are advising parcels send via standard courier service may be delayed an additional 5 business days after the estimated delivery time.

If your order is urgent, couriers recommend express delivery for the best chance in receiving your order as soon as possible

We also recommend that you read this advisory below on how to beat delays and receive your orders in time for the Christmas eve.

[Nov 23, 2022] Service delays to east-west freight due to flooding and rail closure

Disruptions to services on the rail line between the eastern seaboard capital cities and Perth are caused by the heavy rain and flooding across regional New South Wales and Victoria. The east-west rail line is consequently closed and currently under repair and is now not expected to reopen until at least early December.

The impact of this disruption has necessitated that all transcontinental freight must be moved via road, resulting in delays to normal transit times for all freight and transport companies around the country.

Our carrier partners are expecting delays of up to 5 days due to a recent derailing incident and extreme weather events which has played havoc on the rail network

Our couriers are recruiting additional service providers to assist in moving east-west freight as quickly as possible and appreciates your patience during this very busy time of year.
