France at Home ships worldwide from our warehouse in Somerton, Victoria.

We aim to have orders processed and dispatched within 1 – 3 business days of receipt.

France at Home uses a variety of road courier networks for standard Australian deliveries including Couriers Please, Fastway, Direct Freight Express, Star Track and Australia Post depending on the destination. The delivery service will be chosen automatically. You may request a specific carrier, please note that additional charges may apply.

Courier companies may vary for International deliveries

We offer Standard Shipping for all purchases and Express Shipping (on request with additional charge). We can also organise freight (pallets) and tailgate deliveries for larger orders upon request (additional charges will apply).

Once an order has been placed a confirmation email will be sent outlining the products and delivery details.

Once the order has been packed and ready to be picked up by our courier partners you will receive a tracking number and your order will be delivered within the approximate time frames stated below:

If you are absent or otherwise unable to receive delivery, our courier will drop to a local collection point if available. You will then be advised by email, SMS or Card where to locally collect their item.

Otherwise a card will be left advising the order has been returned to the courier’s depot – you must contact the courier within the stated time frame and either collect your order from that depot or arrange a return delivery when signature acceptance is available.

Authority to Leave Terms & Conditions

By selecting ‘Yes’ at the checkout page (or if you selected this option over the telephone with our Customer Service Team), France at Home carriers will leave your parcel at your unattended premises in accordance with your instructions.

You agree that the parcel is deemed received when left at your premises.

France at Home and contractors associated with the delivery do not accept responsibility for any loss or damage which results from this Authority to leave delivery method. You agree to release France at Home from and against any and all claims, demands, liabilities, losses, costs and expenses, including financial and other consequential losses, made, suffered or incurred by you or any other person or entity as a result of this Authority to Leave.

If you do not give France at Home Authority to leave, you will have to be at your premises for the delivery to occur.

Pick up 

France at Home offers two (2) Free Pick up options.

  1. Free Local Pick up can be organised at 3/4 Burnett Street, Somerton. 
  2. Free Market Pick up is available at any of the markets or festivals we attend. Simply select “Free Market Pick up” on check out and make a note of which market you would like to pick up your package from in the order notes.

On the odd occasion that the market that you have selected has been cancelled, you will have the option to select another market, pick up from our warehouse or choose to have it delivered (additional may apply for delivery option).

* France At Home will not be held responsible for the cancellation of markets, resulting in the customer not being able to pick up the order.

France at Home offers Free Standard Shipping for orders over $100 sent within Australia

For Shipping below $100 within Australia will be calculated by weight and charged on checkout.

Delivery of Cheese and/or temperature controlled products 

We can now deliver cheese to the following Australian states: Victoria, South Australia, Canberra, New South Whales and Queensland.

If you require Cheese delivered to Tasmania, Perth or Northern Territory please contact our office on 03 8339 7438 to see if this option is available 

HOW DOES THE CHEESE STAY COOL IN TRANSIT?

We’re proud to be working with a supplier of up-cycled wool for insulation, making it sustainable and compostable! Each box/bag will also come with an ice pack to keep the cheese cold for up days. If you don’t have a use for it, the ice pack gel is safe to pour down the sink and you can put the wrapper in the soft plastic REDCycle bin. 

MY CHEESE DOESN’T FEEL COLD WHEN I OPEN THE BOX. 

In Australia, we’re used to keeping cheese in the fridge, when it actually is best aged and stored between 7-15 degrees! If the cheese doesn’t feel fridge-cold when you open the box, don’t fret, it made its way to you with an ice pack and is in an insulated box. 

We suggest that if you are unable to be home to accept the parcel then it is delivered to your workplace or somewhere where it will be able to be accepted and placed in the refrigerator upon receiving.

International Shipping

France At Home delivers worldwide, shipping cost is calculated by weight and the destination. France At Home is will not be held liable for certain foods or products not allowed into the country and removed / refused by customs / border control.

Please note:
a. Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are buyer’s responsibility. We will try our best to reduce the risk of the custom duties.
b. Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying.

Wholesale Shipping

France at Home offers Free Delivery for orders over $150 sent within Victoria Metropolitan areas.

A delivery fee will be charged for orders below $150 for Victoria.

Shipping other than Victoria will be calculated by weight and destination on checkout.

Out of Stocks

If an item is out of stock, you will be contacted within that period advising you of any potential delay in the delivery of your order. If you find the delay unacceptable, we can offer alternative, similar products, a refund of the out of stock item or a refund of the entire order.

Pre orders 

If an order contains a pre ordered product(s), your order will be put on hold until our container is delivered to the warehouse and we will then dispatch your order in full.

Please note that the shipping paid / free shipping is valid for one shipping only. Orders over $200 delivered within Australia may be entitled to 2 x free shipments so we will dispatch available stock followed by pre ordered products at no additional fee.

Order Changes or Cancellations

We strive to process orders quickly. If you wish to cancel or change an order, you should contact us immediately. If your order hasn’t yet been dispatched, we will try to accommodate your request.
