France at Home ships Australia wide and abroad from our warehouse in Victoria.
We aim to have orders processed and dispatched within 3 business days of receipt.
Once an order has been placed a confirmation email will be sent outlining the products and delivery details.
France at Home uses a variety of road courier networks for standard Australian deliveries including Couriers Please, Toll, Direct Freight Express, Star Track and Australia Post depending on the destination.
The delivery service will be chosen automatically. You may request a specific carrier, please note that additional charges may apply.
Courier companies may vary for International deliveries.
When entering delivery notes, please be aware that these are ‘requests only’. We will do all we can to ensure your parcel is delivered safely and securely within reason. However courier companies have self-imposed rules in place regarding entering private property. We will endeavour to pass your requests on to the relevant courier company.
France at Home offers Free Standard and Refrigerated Shipping for orders over $150 for all retail client’s deliveries within Australia (excludes gift vouchers)
We do not offer Free Shipping for express orders.
Once the order has been packed and ready to be picked up by our courier partners you will receive a tracking number and your order will be delivered within the approximate time frames stated below:
If you are absent or otherwise unable to receive delivery, our courier will drop to a local collection point if available. You will then be advised by email, SMS or Card where to locally collect the item.
Otherwise a card will be left advising the order has been returned to the courier’s depot – you must contact the courier within the stated time frame and either collect your order from that depot or arrange a return delivery when signature acceptance is available.

We offer refrigerated delivery service to the majority of suburbs in the following States and Territories within Australia.
Please note: Refrigerated orders are dispatched on Tuesdays and Thursdays and this service may take a little longer than our standard courier service as deliveries from our warehouse in Victoria are consolidated and sent interstate on certain days of the week.

Please note that some regional / remote locations may not offer tracking for this service.
All refrigerated deliveries will be left at the front door or a safe place if no one is home to accept the parcel. We cannot deliver refrigerated orders to PO Boxes or Parcel Lockers.
Unfortunately, we do not have a Refrigerated Courier Service available to Tasmania & Northern Territory at this stage.
Due to a significant increase in shipping costs, we no longer offer refrigerated delivery to Western Australia (for retail clients). Due to reasons out of our control our refrigerated couriers can no longer service Port Macquarie & Coffs Harbour and Lismore regions.
Although refrigerated shipping may be selected at the time of checkout, we reserve the right to utilise alternative shipping options if your order does not contain any temperature sensitive items such as cheese and butter.

Express Delivery is available on checkout and calculated automatically by weight and destination.
Although we endeavour to have the order dispatched as quickly as possible, all estimated delivery times stated by our 3rd party couriers are estimates only and can not be guaranteed by France At Home.

*If Express delivery is the only option available please check to ensure that you do not have any refrigerated products in your cart, if these products are removed, standard shipping will be available.

By selecting ‘Yes’ at the checkout page (or if you selected this option over the telephone with our Customer Service Team), France at Home 3rd party carriers will leave your parcel at your unattended premises in accordance with your instructions. Please note that if “Authority to leave” is given the carrier may leave the parcel at the front door or in a safe place without knocking.
You agree that the parcel is deemed received when left at your premises.
France at Home and contractors associated with the delivery do not accept responsibility for any loss or damage which results from this Authority to leave delivery method. You agree to release France at Home from and against any and all claims, demands, liabilities, losses, costs and expenses, including financial and other consequential losses, made, suffered or incurred by you or any other person or entity as a result of this Authority to Leave.
If you do not give France at Home’s carrier the Authority to leave your parcel, you will have to be at your premises for the delivery to occur, additional charges may apply to redeliver your parcel if no one is available to accept it.
France At Home delivers worldwide, shipping costs are calculated by weight and the destination.
France At Home is will not be held liable for certain foods or products not allowed into your country and removed / refused by customs / border control.
a. Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility. We will try our best to reduce the risk of the custom duties.
b. Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying.
c. France at Home will not be held liable for any items seized or destroyed by your country’s customs. It is your responsibility to ensure the items purchased can enter your country.

If an item is out of stock, you will be contacted within that period advising you of any potential delay in the delivery of your order. If you find the delay unacceptable, we can offer alternative, similar products, a refund of the out of stock item or a refund of the entire order.
We strive to process orders quickly. If you wish to cancel or change an order, you should contact us immediately. If your order hasn’t yet been dispatched, we will try to accommodate your request.
