Recipe idea

Provencal green beans and marinated chicken skewers

Ingredients:

  • 2 tins of extra fine green beans
  • About fifteen cherry tomatoes (or a small box of peeled tomatoes)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 thinly sliced ​​white onion
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 3 sprigs of flat parsley
  • 8 chicken aiguillettes
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground fennel
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 200 ° (Thermostat 7-8).
  2. Drain extra green beans.
  3. Wash the cherry tomatoes.
  4. In a frying pan, sweat with hot oil, onion and garlic. Add the cherry tomatoes and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes.
  5. Add extra green beans, parsley and cook over low heat for 3 min. Reserve warm.
  6. In a small bowl, prepare the marinade for the aiguillettes by mixing olive oil, fennel, paprika, salt and pepper. Prick the aiguillettes with a skewer in the direction of the height, place them in a dish and then sprinkle them with the marinade.
  7. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, turning them halfway through cooking. Arrange chicken skewers and vegetables in a Provencal dish on a plate!
